EXPO 2020 Dubai Corona information and Covid-19 security measures.
EXPO 2020 Dubai was postponed for a year due to the Corona pandemic and is the first mega-event to be held during the pandemic with visitors and a huge field of international participants.
For this reason, there are security precautions in place before entry to the EXPO site in Dubai, so that the spread of the virus at the EXPO is prevented as far as possible.
Admission, Covid-19 security measures
The EXPO grounds may only be entered by persons who have a Vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test can show.
Certain ticket holders at the EXPO even receive a free PCR test. You can find the latest information on the official website:

In addition, there are always announcements that you should wear a mask and keep a safe distance if possible.
Wear mask on the EXPO 2020 site
It is compulsory to wear a mouth-nose mask on the EXPO site.
Most of them also adhere to it.
But to get a breath of fresh air yourself, you can also find a remote spot away from the hustle and bustle on the expansive EXPO grounds.
There, you can briefly remove your mask and, in my experience, this is also tolerated by the EXPO staff without any problems.
Basically, I would also wear a mask out of my own interest, especially in the pavilions and in the queues, where you often stand very close to each other.
Disinfection dispensers on the EXPO site
EXPO 2020 Dubai Corona information and Covid-19 security measures can be found at many locations around the EXPO site.
Here there are information boards and many disinfection dispensers, which are not far from each other. Here you can disinfect your hands again and again at EXPO 2020 if necessary.
PCR test required: Entry to Dubai with double precaution
To enter Dubai (as of October 2021) the regulations are very high anyway.
Even vaccinated and recovered persons are only allowed to enter Dubai with a current PCR test that is not older than 72 hours.
Take a temperature at the Singapore pavilion
At the Singapore pavilion, visitors will also have their temperature taken.
Whether this is just a "show" effect or actually contributes to further safety is for everyone to decide.
